The Counselor, Underserved Populations Coordinator will function as a strong generalist conducting mental health assessments, urgent care assessments, triage assessments and professional counseling services, especially to students from underserved populations

Job Summary

  • The Counselor, Underserved Populations Coordinator will function as a strong generalist conducting mental health assessments, urgent care assessments, triage assessments and professional counseling services, especially to students from underserved populations.
  • Other responsibilities include referral, consultation, in-service training, outreach, crisis intervention services, and public relations services to campus and community members as appropriate.
  • This position will have a primary office within CTC and a secondary location within a partnered AB&C office, and will participate in staff, student affairs, and university committees.

Key Requirements

  • Independently licensed in Wisconsin as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Experience with treating diagnostically and/or culturally diverse client populations
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a licensed mental health professional (if licensed as LPC) or equivalent for clinical supervision
