Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and sustainability of Programs, Training & Development and Quality within the Long Term Care homes.
  • To promote compliance with regulatory requirements and Extendicare standards, and to ensure the effective operation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of the homes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years senior management experience in Long Term Care
  • Familiar with using data to drive decisions
  • Skilled in translating policies into direct practice
  • Experience in gerontology/CQI/research/adult learning/change management
  • Strong knowledge of RAI-MDS
  • Ability to facilitate learning for others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to travel as required
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
