The Executive Office of the State of North Carolina is seeking an Office Manager for the WNC Agricultural Center, responsible for providing administrative support, managing human resources, and overseeing budgetary functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in relevant systems and procedures, with a focus on planning and supervising staff effectively

Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for providing all administrative support, human resource management, budgetary functions, data entry, and procurement functions for the WNC Ag Center Management Team.
  • The position will involve communication with the public, state agencies, vendors/contractors, consultants, and department/division staff.
  • The Office Manager directly supervises the WNC Agricultural Center’s Assistant Office Manager, the NC Mountain State Fair’s Competitive Entry Department Coordinator and Exhibits and Concessions Coordinator, as well as temporary staff of the NC Mountain State Fair.
