Job Summary
The NC Department of Adult Correction is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws.
The Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) provides architectural and engineering support, sustainability, efficiency, and resiliency planning, as well as construction and maintenance services to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
DECM-Maintenance provides essential plumbing, HVAC/R, and electrical preventative, prescriptive, and routine maintenance services to all Institutions and Facilities, including specific areas such as telecommunications and electronic intrusion systems.
