Job Summary
The NICU is a 61 bed unit providing care for severely ill newborn infants with complex conditions including respiratory distress and cardiac defects.
The RN provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, incorporating patient-family input and teaching strategies into the plan of care.

Key Requirements
Associates or Diploma in Nursing required
Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years if new graduate
MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required or within 60 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire
Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
Prefer NICU experience or NICU immersion for new grads
