About the role We are a busy small-animal clinic with a team of 5 vets and 10 support staff, and we are looking for a motivated Junior Veterinary Nurse to grow with us. You will gain hands-on clinical experience from day one — working alongside our experienced vets and nurses, learning at pace, and making a genuine difference to every patient and owner you meet. No prior veterinary experience is required. We offer structured, on-the-job training and will invest in your development. What you will learn and do Animal handling and patient ward care IV catheter placement and blood collection IV fluid setup and medication dispensing Radiograph and ultrasound positioning Surgical assistance and post-op monitoring Client communication and front-of-house support Our equipment and caseload We see dogs and cats across a genuinely varied caseload, including acupuncture for pain management. Our clinic is well-equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house blood analysers, IM3 dental machine, dental X-ray, and a Tonopen.
