Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution
  • Five or more years engineering experience in oil gas chemical manufacturing
  • Three or more years hands on in plant experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical power distribution systems up to 34.5 kV
  • Experience with instrumentation control systems and safety instrumented systems

Nice-to-have

  • Experience executing electrical and instrumentation capital projects
  • Familiarity with DCS and PLC systems
  • Strong leadership and independent decision making skills
  • Ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels
  • Commitment to continuous learning of industry standards

Key Requirements

  • ABET accredited B.S. in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • Minimum five years engineering experience in oil gas or chemical manufacturing
  • Minimum three years hands-on in-plant experience
  • Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
