PATH is seeking a Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor to support zoonotic disease surveillance in Indonesia as part of the STRIDES Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in epidemiology, public health, and animal health surveillance systems

Job Summary

  • PATH seeks a Veterinary Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Project, which will support and strengthen surveillance, detection and analytical capacity of infectious diseases across both human and animal health.
  • The advisor will support the implementation of surveillance activities under the STRIDES program, including animal health and zoonotic disease surveillance in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and other GHS partners.
  • Responsibilities include leading the development, coordination, and implementation of surveillance activities, working with Government of Indonesia counterparts, and strengthening national and subnational animal and human infectious disease surveillance capacity.

  • 10 years of relevant international experience

  • Willing to travel within Indonesia up to 25%
