Job Summary

  • As Counsel, Market Access, at the senior director level, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day legal support to the Patient, Value and Access (PVA) team within the Oncology Business Unit.
  • You will provide legal support for all aspects of the PVA function, including pricing, payor and GPO contracting, government price reporting, co-pay programming and patient services for inline and launch products within the US Market.
  • In this highly visible role, you will help shape the strategic and tactical elements of this critical function, ensuring that patients are able to access Takeda’s novel medicines.

Key Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
  • 10+ years of legal experience
  • 2+ years relevant market access experience
  • Proficiency in commercial payer, government payer, and trade contracting
  • Developing proficiency in government price reporting requirements
  • Understanding of relevant laws (Antikickback Statute, FCA, FDCA, Medicaid Statute, IRA, ACA)
