Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for the end-to-end design lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and buildable data center designs that align with project cost, schedule, safety, and operational requirements.
  • The Director will drive regional design standards, oversee engineering teams & specialists and consultants, and establish consistent design management processes across projects.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 15+ years experience in design engineering
  • Full design lifecycle management from feasibility to IFC
  • Strong understanding of data center MEP and ICT infrastructure
  • Experience managing consultants and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of APAC construction markets and building codes

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
  • Familiarity with BIM, prefabrication, and modularisation
  • Low-carbon design approaches and innovation
  • Ability to inject fun into work culture

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in design management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-cultural teams
