The Chief of Staff-Athletics reports directly to the Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics and is responsible for the direct oversight and administration of the Department of Athletics’ strategic planning process, special projects and initiatives as designated by the Director of Athletics

Job Summary

  • The Chief of Staff-Athletics reports directly to the Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics and is responsible for the direct oversight and administration of the Department of Athletics’ strategic planning process, special projects and initiatives as designated by the Director of Athletics.
  • This position will manage and provide leadership to the students in the One Razorback Pathway Graduate Assistant Program and supervise the Graduate Assistants assigned to the Administration unit.
  • The benefits package includes university contributions to health, dental, life and disability insurance, tuition waivers for employees and their families, 12 official holidays, immediate leave accrual, and a choice of retirement programs with university contributions ranging from 5 to 10% of employee salary.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Seven years administrative experience in intercollegiate athletics
  • Experience with NCAA and/or conference governance
  • Three years supervisory experience
