The primary purpose is to support five Rehabilitation Engineer I positions in the Eastern region by applying creative engineering problem solving to help persons with disabilities function independently.
At least 95% of presented problems pertain to individual consumers with severe disabilities referred by Independent Living or Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors.
