  • The Advanced Practice Provider will assist the Neurocritical Care neurologist on the inpatient Neurocritical Care service.
  • The APRN will see patients in consultation with the Neurocritical Care Faculty and also interact and coordinate clinical services with physicians and nurses from other related specialties at UAMS.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing – Acute Care APRN
  • Three (3) years of nursing experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas
  • APRN License
  • 1 year of APRN experience in an ICU or Neurology preferred
  • Master’s Degree – Physician Assistant
  • 1 year of PA experience in an ICU or Neurology PA
  • DNP (preferred for APRN)
  • 3 years of nursing experience (preferred for APRN)
  • 3 years of APRN experience in a ICU or Neurology, or Rheumatology (preferred for APRN)
  • 3 years of PA experience in a ICU, ED, or other acute care area (preferred for PA)
