Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Associate Director for their Core PDC team in Middletown, CT, focusing on continuous improvement and operational excellence in the assembly and testing of engines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, and project management, along with a strong commitment to driving organizational transformation

Job Summary

  • Lead CORE & Overall Continuous Improvement activities at the Product Delivery Center (PDC) that drive tangible action and metric improvements across all product lines of the business.
  • Assess, establish and execute improvement plans for KPI metrics, CORE maturity level, Standard Production System (SPS), OpX/WAVE, Industry 4.0, and other P&W and RTX initiatives.
  • Establish & oversee CORE proficiency growth of the PDC employee population working in collaboration with Black Belt & Red-X Specialists to leverage PDC activities for broad employee skill growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics or Operations, Supply Chain or similar field and 12 years of experience; or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • CORE Apprentice Certification or 3+ years lean manufacturing/CI experience
  • CORE Professional Certification or Six Sigma Training
