Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • NAVSEA 389-0153 or equivalent
  • NRRPT or American Academy of Health Physics certification
  • 30 semester hours in science fields
  • ANSI 3.1 qualified in Radiation Protection
  • Department of Energy – Core RCT certification
  • Prior qualification as Radiation Protection Monitor
  • 1 year of experience in radiation surveys
