Job Summary

  • The permanent part-time (16 hours per week) role of Staff Specialist Palliative Care works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that the Braeside Hospital Palliative Care service functions in a way that aligns with the Mission, Vision and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare and ensures that the medical and other care provided to patients is of high quality.
  • Duties include Provide demonstrably high-quality specialist Palliative Care services to patients in the South-West Sydney Local Government Area To maintain personal professional competence in Palliative Care To work within healthcare teams and with other senior medical staff in a cooperative and collegiate way, evidencing the Mission, Motivation and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare Undertake teaching of medical students and trainee doctors and undertake research in Palliative Care as opportunities present.
