As Core Projects Planner, you will be responsible for the update and review of project plans within a portfolio for the £2.3bn Investment Plan of SP Transmission Core Projects, targeted at supporting the UK to reach Net Zero and reporting on the month-to-month movement of defined project KPIs for the portfolio, using specialist Planning Software and established IT Software tools

Job Summary

  • As Core Projects Planner, you will be responsible for the update and review of project plans within a portfolio for the £2.3bn Investment Plan of SP Transmission Core Projects, targeted at supporting the UK to reach Net Zero and reporting on the month-to-month movement of defined project KPIs for the portfolio, using specialist Planning Software and established IT Software tools.
  • Producing portfolio level monthly reports based upon the most up-to-date Project Plan KPIs to inform and assist the portfolio level management decision making process, informing of project performance, you will analyse internal departmental schedules and external contractor project plans as required, ensuring and advising the Project Team of their suitability and any actions required to meet the overall project plan control and schedule targets.

  • Previous scheduling/programming/planning experience
  • Knowledge of Primavera and MS Project
  • Proven ability to work in a team
  • Good written communication skills
  • Experienced in report writing
  • Experienced in MS Office tools
