They are looking for an experienced In-House Corporate Legal Council to join the existing team in Singapore. Responsibilities: - Manage legal and financial risk exposure throughout the business and in all contact negotiations and corporate transactions Create streamlined processes for contract negotiations Create streamlined and simplified processes for the provision of support to all other areas of the company Build critical relationships to effectively provide practical and strategic advice to assist the business in meeting its objectives, while ensuring compliance with applicable law. Advise on recommended courses of action and legal risk, with the ability to judge when to escalate identified issues as appropriate. Requirements: - Qualified lawyer. With 6-10 years' PQE either with a law firm or in-house. Experience reviewing, negotiating, creating and managing contracts with customers, partners, resellers, etc, to protect the interest and risk of the company and to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Proven track record and ability to work in a high-pressure sale-driven revenue generation environment with prompt and accurate responses to questions and production of work product. Evidence of taking ownership and ability to prioritise and deal with a wide range of business requirements, as well as usual activities at the same time to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify and effectively communicate legal information. Work with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
