Must-have
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years engineering experience with Bachelor's
4+ years engineering experience with Master's/PhD
Coursework in mechanics of materials and heat transfer
Proficiency in ANSYS, NASTRAN, and Siemens NX
Ability to create and read mechanical drawings
Nice-to-have
Experience with high and ultra-high vacuum systems
Knowledge of welding and brazing practices
Familiarity with additive manufacturing (3D printing)
Experience designing lifting and rigging plans
Understanding of radiation damage to materials
Key Requirements
ABET accredited degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 6 years experience with Bachelor's degree
Minimum 4 years experience with Master's or PhD
Successful completion of federal background investigation
