Job Summary

• The Project Engineer provides advanced technical leadership and engineering governance for capital, infrastructure, and facility projects across AstraZeneca’s U.S. R&D network, including GMP and non-GMP environments.
• Responsibilities include serving as technical lead, evaluating infrastructure capacity, leading development of Basis of Design, and ensuring alignment with AstraZeneca standards, building codes, cGMP, and SHE policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• PE license strongly preferred
• 4+ years of experience in pharma/biotech capital projects
• Experience supporting large capital programs ($1M+ preferred)
• Strong understanding of GMP validation, commissioning, change control
