Job Summary

  • The Traffic Engineering Technician performs highly technical work to support the traffic engineering, traffic operations, and traffic utilities functions of the Public Works and Development Department’s Traffic Operations Program.
  • Duties include conducting field collection of data, inspecting and processing data from traffic devices, and managing traffic data devices deployment schedules.
  • This position requires working in an on-call status after-hours to respond to emergency 811 Locates requests on a rotating basis.
