The Patient Care Tech is imperative to increasing efficiency, productivity, as well as patient and team satisfaction within the Internal Medicine Clinic.
Essential duties include obtaining and recording vital signs, performing chart reviews, and managing the ordering of medical supplies and medications under direct supervision.
The role requires strong organizational skills to schedule appointments, process referrals, and coordinate prescription assistance programs for clinic patients.

Must-have
High School Diploma or Equivalent
American Heart Association BLS certification
Collects patient information and records vital signs
Performs chart review and pre-visit planning
Schedule patient appointments and referrals
Order drugs, medical supplies and vaccines
Nice-to-have
Courses in Medical Terminology
Nurse Aid training or non-certified graduate of medical assistant program
EMT, CNA, or health care related certifications
Experience working with protected health information
Two years of medical/clinical office experience
Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
Key Requirements
