Job Summary

  • With 75 years of experience, our focus is on helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance activities for projects in North Kivu, South Kivu, and Ituri provinces, ensuring timely submission of funding requests and accurate financial data management.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, support audits and donor reviews, and enforce compliance with organizational and donor requirements.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Grant management in NGO environment
  • Budgeting and forecasting for donor projects
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Compliance with donor financial policies
  • Use of Sun Systems accounting software
  • Coordination with partners and stakeholders

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with UNICEF project management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently under pressure
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Requirements

  • First degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years grant management experience in NGO
  • Knowledge of GAAP and WVI FPP
  • Experience with Sun Systems, Vision XL and Vision Executive
  • Local travel availability at least quarterly
