Job Summary

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day to day functions of the nursing service department in accordance with current rules and regulations.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of written policies, quality assurance programs, and nursing care plans to ensure high standards of resident care.
  • Supervise nursing staff, perform nursing assessments, authorize use of restraints when necessary, and maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
