Job Summary

  • Provides and coordinates pastoral care to patients, families, and employees, including direct client contact with the provision of sacramental support, pastoral counseling, and/or referral to community religious resources.
  • Appropriately interfaces with the clinical staff with the provision of spiritual assessments, patient care plans, and consultations inclusive of those in need of support in end of life decision making.
  • Cares for the spiritual needs of patients and families through visitation and appropriate ministry in conjunction with the pastoral volunteer program and other interfaith chaplains.
