Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards.
  • Administer medications, prepare and administer treatments, and maintain resident records including charting nurses' notes and completing accident/incident reports.
  • Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply functions, care plan and assessment functions, and budget and planning functions.
