This role supports the origination, structuring, and execution of Export & Agency Finance transactions with a dual focus on Japanese Export Credit Agencies and inbound deals into Asia.
Candidates must leverage native Japanese proficiency to build relationships with key stakeholders including exporters, importers, banks, and contacts at JBIC/NEXI.
The position requires frequent business travel up to 30-40% of the time to foster connections in Japan and across the Asia Pacific region.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Native Japanese language proficiency
3-5 years EAF or structured trade finance experience
Knowledge of JBIC and NEXI supported transactions
End-to-end deal execution under senior guidance
Frequent business travel within Asia Pacific
Nice-to-have
Experience in Project Finance or Asset backed Finance
Familiarity with other ECAs like KEXIM or Sinosure
Strong teamwork in matrix environment across geographies
Additional Asian language skills beyond Japanese
International experience navigating cross-border transactions
Key Requirements
