The University of Arkansas is seeking a Teaching Assistant Professor of Educational Technology with a focus on instructional design and advanced learning technologies. The position is full-time, for a nine-month academic term, and involves teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, while contributing to research and departmental engagement

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students to create, design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative, technology-driven learning solutions using industry-standard technologies such as AI, XR (immersive), learning analytics, and web-based platforms.
  • The Teaching Assistant Professor of Educational Technology will be expected to teach four courses per semester at the graduate and undergraduate levels, in person and online including courses in instructional design, learning technologies, and educational technologies, as well as other courses in the department outside of the educational technology program.

Key Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Experience Design, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field
