Job Summary
The First Assistant Engineer is responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of shipboard engineering systems and equipment while representing company interests.
This role requires full implementation of the Company Safety Management System and ensuring the safe operation of main propulsion, power generation, and cargo transfer systems.
Incumbents must be able to work in high noise levels, ascend ladders, and perform emergency duties without undue danger to themselves or the vessel.

Must-have
Valid flag state credentials required
Minimum two years DP-2 vessel experience
Riggers certificate from recognized authority
English reading and writing ability
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Work in confined and restricted spaces
Valid OPITO BOSIET credential preferred
