Job Summary

  • As an Amentum Space Exploration Division intern, you will work alongside engineers and scientists on hardware development, payload integration, laboratory and test operations, modeling and simulation, space environments, scientific research, and propulsion systems for programs like Human Landing Systems, Space Launch Systems, and the International Space Station.
  • This hourly, overtime-eligible internship position offers health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits including 401(k) matching, educational reimbursement, parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, and other benefits.
  • The internship requires a valid Star ID/Real ID driver's license, access to an automobile, and the ability to attend scheduled tours, technical talks, luncheons, and training sessions at NASA facilities.

Key Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an engineering, science, technical, math, or computer science BS degree program
  • Degree program at an ABET accredited institution preferred
  • Must provide own transportation
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required
