Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist functions as an integral member of a team of care providers in the operating rooms of the Perioperative Services, reflecting a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect.
The team provides patient care and supportive services aimed at achieving patient care outcomes, improving service levels, reducing hospitalization length, and decreasing costs.
Operating rooms are staffed Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with surgical patient care after hours and weekends covered by on call.
