Power International Holding is seeking an Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner to manage and enhance IPC programs, focusing on reducing hospital-acquired infections and overseeing compliance with health regulations in Iraq. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in healthcare settings and a strong background in infection prevention

Job Summary

  • The Infection Prevention and Control Practitioner will oversee all aspects of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programs and provide leadership, resources, tools, and analytics to reduce/eliminate hospital-acquired infections, manage outbreaks/exposures and improve clinical practice.
  • Responsible for surveillance programs for both healthcare acquired infections and disease reporting including collection and analysis of relevant data and implementation of appropriate action plans to address related issues.
  • Ensures education and training for all facility and contracts staff in proper selection and use of PFE and job or task specific infection control practices.
