WRIC Technologies is seeking a Meteorologist to forecast weather conditions and present reports across various platforms. The role requires strong communication skills and a minimum of five years of experience in weather reporting or anchoring

Job Summary

  • The Meteorologist forecasts weather conditions, produces, and anchors weather reports for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.
  • Primary responsibilities include preparing and presenting weather forecasts on weekend morning newscasts; 3 days midweek weather, climate, science, and occasional general assignment reporting, and fill-in weather anchoring as needed.
  • Ensures that all weather content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality and responds to breaking and/or severe weather events and other urgent newsrooms situations as required.
