Operates company's internal data communications systems, planning, designing and implementing local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols.
Supports/troubleshoots network issues and coordinates with vendors for installation of items such as routers and switches, while working on project implementation.
Provides training and assists with proposal writing, conducting project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons, and may coach less experienced Network Engineers.
