The role of the Emergency Care Unit (ECU) overflow nurse is to provide inpatient medical, surgical, telemetry, and stepdown level of care to patients admitted to the hospital from the Emergency Department (ED).
The overflow nurse will care for the admitted patients in the dynamic, fast-paced, high-patient turnover environment.

Key Requirements
Current RN license
One year of nurse experience
Emergency Department experience preferred
ACLS/PALS required
Intermediate EKG Course completion
Annual competency requirements completion
Advance Cardiac Life Support course preferred
Experience in operating personal computers preferred
