Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and sustainability of Programs, Training & Development and Quality within the Long Term Care homes, as well as the implementation and sharing of policies/programs.
  • Key responsibilities include supporting professional practice, educating and mentoring teams, promoting compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring effective operation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of homes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years senior management experience in Long Term Care
  • Familiar with using data to drive decisions
  • Skilled in translating policies into direct practice
  • Experience in gerontology/CQI/research/adult learning/change management
  • Strong knowledge of RAI-MDS
  • Ability to facilitate learning for others
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office applications)
  • Ability to reason, think analytically and conceptually
  • Able to travel as required and possess a valid driver’s license
