Job Summary

  • Measures and analyzes software designs for equipment/products to ensure current and future needs of the business are met.
  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs control and diagnostic systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

Must-have

  • Software development or computer/electronic equipment experience
  • English verbal and written communication

Nice-to-have

  • Software development based on DO-178
  • Agile software development experience
  • Experience with HLR/LLR and Requirements decomposition
  • Experience conducting test planning & unit-tests
  • Experience in code review or performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of Python; ADA
  • Experience using C/C++
  • Experience in National Instruments LABVIEW
  • Experience with communication buses
  • Linux and/or Windows System Administration
  • Hardware/Software integration and troubleshooting

Key Requirements

  • Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience or Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Must be residing in Puerto Rico
