The Rehabcentre is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing services and staff in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, 3-5 years of management experience, and strong leadership and communication skills

Job Summary

  • Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
  • Oversees clinical operations, including making daily rounds and monitoring resident conditions, and is responsible for ensuring resident safety and that residents are treated with the utmost respect.
  • Assists the DON in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.
