Job Summary

  • This role performs prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, competently performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
  • Essential responsibilities include positioning patients, performing imaging procedures, analyzing results, taking action to resolve image quality issues, and entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
  • The role requires reviewing patient history, educating patients, preparing and administering contrast media/medications, monitoring patient condition, preparing equipment, selecting exposure factors, and implementing safety and quality control procedures.
