The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients, manage documentation, and provide training to facility staff. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary educational qualifications and state licensure, as well as strong communication and supervisory skills

Job Summary

  • The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
  • Develop effective treatment plan and obtain approval for services from referring physician.
  • Instruct patient’s families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
