Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants as required by regulations.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and coordinates the infection control surveillance program.
This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN or LPN) with experience in long-term care and education program planning.
