Job Summary

  • This position supports a National Cancer Institute-funded research project focused on adapting collaborative care models for patients with serious mental illness and cancer.
  • The Community Health Navigator will engage patients to build trusting relationships and navigate them through the healthcare system to decrease barriers to timely care.
  • While not a clinical role, the position requires understanding when to refer patients to licensed clinicians and involves close supervision by the social work and psychiatry team.
