The Department of Physics invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics focusing on neuroscience and/or biophysics.
Ideal candidates will have a strong record of impactful research in quantitative systems neuroscience, statistical physics of living systems, brain-gut-microbiome interactions, computational/theoretical neuro/bio, advanced machine learning/data analytics, microbial biophysics, or molecular biophysics.
Successful candidates will also be expected to have strong commitment to mentoring and teaching graduate and undergraduate students and the service efforts of the university.
