• Serve as a key strategic partner and important voice within the business, providing essential legal advice and support on commercial initiatives and transactions for the Discover Network.
• Lead a team of legal professionals responsible for negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and advising on matters impacting issuer, acquirer, and merchant relationships.
• Act as lead subject matter expert on Global Payment Network's credit products, including regulatory overlays and industry developments, while leading innovation across the Discover Network.

Key Requirements

• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Active member of at least one state bar
• 10+ years of attorney experience
• 12+ years of legal experience preferred
• 2+ years commercial contracting experience preferred
• Merchant and/or payment network experience preferred
