Job Summary

  • It’s the mission of the NC Department of Transportation to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • Employee will be responsible for locating NCDOT underground traffic signal utilities throughout Division 4 counties but primarily in Johnston County and assisting other technicians in installation, testing, and inspection of traffic control systems.
  • The successful applicant will be exposed to all weather conditions and high volumes of moving traffic and must maintain proper records of all signal work accomplished.
