The Medical Lab Technician-Processing reports to the laboratory manager and is responsible for performing specimen processing, manual computer test order entry; verification of laboratory test requisition entry, and customer services related duties.
The Medical Lab Technician –testing works under the direction of the lab manager and lead technologist(s) and is responsible for all areas of patient specimen processing, media/reagent preparation, participates in performing preventative maintenance, quality control and assists with safety and compliance.
