About the role CDI Energy Products Pte. Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced CNC Lead to join our team in the Tuas West Region. This full-time position will be responsible for overseeing the CNC machining operations and ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of critical components for the energy industry. What you'll be doing Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the CNC machining department, including scheduling work, monitoring productivity, and troubleshooting issues Provide technical guidance and support to the CNC machining team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to optimize workflows and implement process improvements Develop and implement training programs to upskill the CNC machining team Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the final products meet the highest standards Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the CNC machining operations Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance on CNC machines What we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a CNC machining lead or supervisory role, preferably in the Trades & Services or Fitters, Turners & Machinists industries Strong technical expertise in CNC programming, Automation set-up, and operation, robotic with a deep understanding of machine capabilities and limitations Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, with a focus on training and development Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams What we offer At CDI Energy Products Pte.
