Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for preparing medications for patient use under the general supervision of a licensed pharmacist, in accordance with federal and state laws, and Patient Service Center policies.
Assists pharmacist(s) with pharmacy fulfillment activities, communicates with staff about sufficient inventory quantities regarding medication delivery, and handles fulfillment of prescriptions including product receipt, lot tracking, and shipping coordination.
This position reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Operations and requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred qualifications including CPhT licensure and relevant pharmacy experience.
