  • Strong experience with backup and recovery procedures
  • Proficient in REORG, RUNSTATS, LOAD, UNLOAD
  • Experience with buffer pool tuning, lock contention resolution
  • Working knowledge of DB2 security administration
  • Ability to perform problem determination and root cause analysis
  • Skilled in writing and interpreting JCL, REXX, and automation scripts
  • Strong English communication skills
