Implements and maintains Epic systems and databases to ensure optimum performance, managing complex Information System projects to provide automated solutions that meet business needs.
Facilitates updates, new releases, and system enhancements for Epic applications, while conducting technical and application reviews to evaluate feasibility and usefulness.
Assists in the development and training of employees, serves as an advocate for VHS needs, and remains current on industry standards through continuous learning and Epic training.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or Information technology related field or four (4) years of equivalent work experience
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an IT or healthcare role
At least one Epic certification required
Ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues lists and follow a project plan
Competent in Microsoft Office
Strong verbal/written communication and follow up skills
Technical knowledge of coordinating, configuring and building healthcare IT
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for health system EHR’s
